ipnow.kr shows LG Uplus when your public IP belongs to one of its networks, AS17858 or AS3786. LG Uplus is one of Korea's three major carriers, offering both fixed-line home internet and mobile service, so this is usually your actual connection.

What is LG Uplus?
LG Uplus is one of South Korea's three major telecommunications carriers, alongside KT and the SK Broadband/SK Telecom group. Unlike SK, LG Uplus runs both fixed-line home internet and mobile service under a single company, so both a home LG Uplus line and an LG Uplus mobile SIM can show the same ISP name.

Why does my IP show LG Uplus?
If you are using LG Uplus home broadband, a mobile SIM on LG Uplus, or Wi-Fi routed through LG Uplus equipment, this is the expected, normal result.
It can also appear on a leased business line, a shared apartment or office connection billed through LG Uplus, or a VPN or proxy hosted on an LG Uplus address. If the result surprises you, check that your VPN works to see whether a VPN is actually turned on.

How do I confirm this on ipnow.kr, and does LG Uplus support IPv6?
