Which IP address is shown here?
This is the public IP address that websites see. At home or at work, one router usually holds the public IP while the devices behind it use private addresses such as 192.168.x.x. See public vs private IP for details.
The location is an estimate from an IP geolocation database (DB-IP), so it can be tens of kilometres off. Why IP location is wrong explains why.
Why do I see both IPv4 and IPv6?
If your provider supports IPv6, your device can have both kinds of address, and the browser and network decide which one a connection uses. The differences are covered in IPv4 vs IPv6.
How do I check my IP from the command line?
Run curl ipnow.kr in a terminal to get just your IP on one line, or curl ipnow.kr/json for location and ISP as JSON. Script examples are in look up your IP with curl.

Does my IP address change?
Most home broadband and mobile connections use dynamic IPs, so the address can change when the router restarts or you switch networks. A static IP usually has to be ordered from your provider.
Does a VPN change my IP?
Yes. With a VPN on, websites see the VPN server's IP. Open this page before and after connecting and compare the IP and ISP to confirm the VPN works.
Does this site store my IP?
Access logs are kept to run the service and block abuse. Statistics are only published as anonymous aggregates.
